Subscription Rules

Monthly upgrades

Monthly upgrades take effect immediately after payment succeeds.

• We charge the full monthly price of the target plan in V1.
• Your new monthly cycle starts immediately after the upgrade succeeds.
• Any remaining credits from the old monthly plan carry into the new cycle.

Monthly downgrades

Monthly downgrades are not supported in V1.

• Only upgrades from a lower monthly plan to a higher monthly plan are supported.
• Same-plan repurchase through the upgrade flow is not supported.
• Downgrade behavior will be added later after the current upgrade flow is fully validated.

Annual plans

• Annual plans currently do not support upgrade or downgrade in V1.
• Annual cancellation turns off renewal and stays active until the paid term ends.
• Annual renewal keeps the same annual billing cadence unless you cancel before renewal.

Credits and reset windows

• Monthly plan credits reset on your own subscription cycle, not on the first day of the calendar month.
• Annual plans are billed yearly, but credits are still released in monthly windows inside the annual term.
• Monthly upgrade carryover applies only from the immediately replaced monthly plan into the new cycle.

Unsupported changes in V1

• Switching between monthly and annual plans is not supported in V1.
• Annual plans currently do not support upgrade or downgrade in V1.
• Cross-interval plan changes will be added later after we validate the simpler monthly flow.
